Have you seen something somewhere that you really like but the dimensions are just not right for your home? Whether its as small as a TV stand, made-to-measure shelves or an intricate book-case we can discuss, design and manufacture it together.
'Mark Challis came to our rescue after our toddler managed to pull off the door of a bow fronted Victorian cabinet. He collected the piece and returned it to our home mended and revitalised. The polish gleamed and yet still looked utterly authentic with all the character retained. We very much plan to use Mark again - he provides a quality service which represents great value for money.

We were given a lovely antique dining table and chairs. The chairs were in very poor condition and we were nervous that they were not going to survive. Mark was able to rescue them and they are now very comfortable and – more to the point – solid! As we were going away, Mark offered to renovate the chairs without removing them from our home and he left everything clean and tidy whilst doing a terrific job.
The table we had been given was very low and we tried to buy cups for the legs to raise it. We could not find anything that looked right with the table – they were all rubber or plastic – and Mark ‘turned’ us some wooden cups at exactly the height we needed. We were delighted with them and show off to everyone who comes for dinner… They were much better value than the ones we found on the internet – especially because Mark took the time to guide us on style and colour etc.

This bookcase was handmade to match the existing fireplace and doors in the luxurious lounge at Tre-ysgwan Hall in Anglessey, North Wales.
This TV stand was created to fit in a tight corner to give maximum space in the rest of the room as well as some handy storage for the hi-fi system.
OK so strictly speaking we agree a sofa isn't a cabinet ! Howevever, underneath the upholstery is a sturdy hand made wooden frame which was made to exactly fit this awkwardly sized room. On one side the chaise was carefully measured to fit under the windows (and to allow the shutters to open freely) and on the other side a corner unit was designed to butt up to a small dividing wall.
